VENTURA : Man Robs Market of Cash, Flees on Foot

Ventura police Friday were searching for a gunman who held up a Vons grocery store and made off with an undetermined amount of cash.
The store at 5688 Telephone Road was robbed about 10:45 p.m. Thursday when a man entered the store, pulled out a gun and ordered the store manager to hand over money, police said.
The man fled on foot. Police had no suspects Friday.
