LOS ANGELES : Man Gets 3 Months for Trespassing After Quake

A Los Angeles man who was arrested in an earthquake-collapsed building where 16 people died pleaded guilty to trespassing this week and was sentenced to three months in jail, City Atty. James Hahn said.
Timothy Loughton, 24, was sentenced by Van Nuys Municipal Commissioner Gerald Richardson. Deputy City Atty. David Knokey said police found Loughton in the complex after a demolition crew worker told officers that he had seen a man in the complex.
