City Folks Get Chance to Get Trout

The Department of Fish and Game’s “Fishin’ in the City” project gets a boost this week as rainbow trout will be planted for the first time in five urban lakes in Los Angeles County and one in Orange County.
Trout to a half-pound will be planted at Cerritos Park Lake, Kenneth Hahn Park Lake in Baldwin Hills, La Mirada Park Lake, Magic Johnson Park Lake in Willowbrook, Lincoln Park Lake in Lincoln Heights, and Mile Square Park Lake in Fountain Valley.
