* Steve Currit has joined Strategic Mortgage Services in Costa Mesa as president of the appraisal services division. Previously, Currit was a senior vice president for Security Pacific Bank, where he was responsible for the residential and commercial appraisal group. He also created the appraisal department at Cushman & Wakefield of Washington Inc., and directed the appraisal departments at American Savings and Loan.
