Those of you who were involved in football pools will need to know these numbers: Dallas 6-3 (first quarter and halftime), Buffalo 3-0 (third and final). These pools are illegal in California and most neighboring states. However, if you win, you should declare it on your income tax (remember, April 15) because it was income tax evasion that the feds used to send Al Capone up the river.
Note: Bud Bowl pool numbers were Bud 7-7 (first), Bud Light 7-4 (half), Bud 4-4 (third), Bud 4-0 (final). In case you care, Bud Light won, 20-14.
