SOUTH : Literacy Project Needs Volunteers
The Los Angeles Public Adult Reading Project is looking for volunteers to tutor older adults in basic literacy.
Volunteers must attend a 12-hour workshop and spend up to four hours a week working with the project.
Orientation classes are from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7 and 10:30 a.m. to noon Feb. 12.
