ORANGE : Coast Guard to Hold Boating Safety Class
The U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will offer its “Boating Safety & Seamanship” class beginning Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m.
The 13-week class will meet at El Modena High School at 3920 Spring St. near Chapman Avenue. Designed for both beginners and those with boating experience, the class will include instruction on emergency procedures, navigation, boat construction and radio operations.
