Man Critically Injured in Stabbing

A man stabbed during a fight Sunday afternoon in a Garden Grove parking lot was in critical condition at UCI Medical Center, police said.
Garden Grove police responded to a report of an injured man in the 11600 block of Monarch Street about 3:40 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a victim wounded in the chest. A witness, who had called police, said the man had been stabbed during a fight with another man, who fled in a car, Sgt. Gary Walker said.
The victim had not been identified late Sunday night and police did not have a complete description of the assailant or his car, Walker said.
