Thief Takes Snow Shovel as Man Clears Driveway

WOODBRIDGE, N.J. — A man clearing snow from his driveway was robbed of his shovel at gunpoint, police said.
“Give me the shovel. I need the shovel right now,” the robber said after he stopped his car Thursday night, jumped out and grabbed the shovel, Woodbridge Police Detective Joe Joraskie said.
After a tugging match, the robber pulled out a pistol and aimed it at the victim, who surrendered the shovel. The robber then handed it to a passenger, got back into the car and drove off, police said.
