* Lawrence D. Hazzard has been appointed executive vice president for O’Brien-Kreitzberg & Associates Inc. Hazzard will be in charge of operations in the western United States, Latin America and Pacific Rim countries for the Encino-based construction and management company.
* Bryan Marsal, a management consultant, has been hired as acting chief executive officer at Cherokee Inc., the apparel maker based in Sunland. Marsal replaces Robert Margolis, who resigned last month. Marsal is a partner at Alvarez & Marsal, a business consulting firm.
* Ventura County National Bancorp has named Kathleen H. Rezzo as executive vice president/chief credit officer for Ventura County National Bank. Rezzo was previously a senior vice president and division administrator at Bank of America.
The Oxnard-based company, which also owns Frontier Bank, also named Carol Ward as senior vice president/general auditor. Ward was most recently senior vice president/general auditor at Community Bank in Pasadena.
