Houston Oilers Do Care About Dads
If (David) Williams chose to bond with his son for a few more hours instead of honoring his job commitment, so be it (“Football Player Fields Role as a Dad Like a Champ,” Oct. 24). But for a columnist to chastise the Houston Oilers for not paying someone for a game not played is grossly unfair.
Seems logical to me that a “choice” like this should be grounds for invalidating the whole contract. Lucky for him he works for a caring organization.
