SEATTLE — University of Washington football player Jason Shelley and basketball player Prentiss Perkins, both of whom had been suspended from their teams for previous legal trouble, were dismissed Monday after being arrested in Eugene, Ore.
Shelley, 19, was a redshirt freshman wide receiver. Perkins, 21, was the starting point guard as a junior last winter. Charles Douglas Barnes, 20, also a Washington football player, was suspended indefinitely. The three were charged Monday with burglary and sex abuse after an incident involving an Oregon student.
