Auto Repair Abuses Alleged: The Orange County district attorney’s office this week sued Auto Care Suspension Express on Alicia Parkway in Mission Viejo for allegedly overcharging customers for repairs and for making unnecessary repairs.
The district attorney seeks an order from a Superior Court judge to halt the alleged fraud. The lawsuit also seeks $2,500 for each alleged violation.
Seyed Fazlollah Lajevardi, who manages the shop for the owner--his father, Seyed Mohammad Lajevardi--said Friday that a former manager once defrauded a customer more than a year and a half ago. But the manager, he said, has since left. That was the only instance of fraud at the repair shop, Lajevardi said.
“We got burned for something we didn’t even do,” he said.
