Flight Attendants Picket: American Airlines attendants held informational pickets at Los Angeles International and several other Southern California airports as part of a labor dispute with the nation’s second-largest carrier. American and the Assn. of Professional Flight Attendants, which are at odds over proposed changes in work rules, pay and other issues, are scheduled to resume negotiations Monday. If no agreement is reached, the attendants could launch a strike as early as Oct. 30.
