ANAHEIM : Friday Is Deadline for Paramedic Program
Residents and business owners have until Friday to enroll in the city’s paramedic membership program and avoid a major charge if they require medical service.
Those who volunteer to pay the $3 monthly fee will not be charged if city paramedics are called to their home or office. The fee covers all residents of a home or employees of a business enrolled in the program.
Paramedic fees range from $150 to $250 per incident for uncovered homes or businesses.
Some health insurance policies may cover that cost, however. Those who are unsure should contact their insurance agents.
For information about the paramedic program, or to enroll, call (714) 254-4000.
