The event will be a “fun and frightful” experience, organizers said; each evening’s program costs $2 and runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The city of Lake Forest and the school district will co-sponsor the “Halloween Magic Spooktacular” on Oct. 27 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Lake Forest Elementary School, 21801 Pittsford Drive, Lake Forest. The event will feature Steve Spellman, television’s master magician. Tickets are $3 for children and $5 for adults in advance, or $4 for children and $6 for adults at the door.
