MOORPARK : City Council to Hold Town Hall Meeting
The Moorpark City Council will hold the fifth in a series of town hall meetings Oct. 9 in the Mountain Meadows area of the city.
The meeting, designed to be an informal exchange between residents and city officials, is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. in the Buttercreek Estates Recreation Center, 11804 Maplecrest St.
Past meetings have been held in various neighborhoods around the city. Council members say the sessions offer residents a chance to voice their concerns while avoiding high-profile appearances at City Hall council meetings, which are broadcast over cable television.
