LA HABRA : Special Saturday Trash Collections
Garbage that cannot be picked up during normal trash collection will be accepted Saturday at four city parks and City Hall.
Any large items that are not hazardous or toxic may be dumped in large trash bins from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at La Bonita Park, Descanso Park, Oeste Park, Las Lomas Park and the City Hall parking lot.
The cleanup effort is free to residents and proof of residence will be required.
Senior citizens and those who are physically unable to deliver their trash can call the Public Services Department at (310) 905-9789 and workers will pick it up.
City Hall is located at the corner of La Habra Boulevard and Euclid Street, La Bonita Park is at the corner of Idaho Street and Whittier Boulevard, Las Lomas Park is on the corner of Euclid Street and Las Lomas Drive, Oeste Park is on the corner of Lambert Road and Glenhaven Drive and Descanso Park is located on the corner of Fonda Street and Stearns Avenue.
Residents are encouraged to take their hazardous and toxic materials to the nearest county collection site in Anaheim, which is located at 1131 Blue Gum Street.
