Oak Park 18, St. Genievieve 14--Eagle tailback Mark Schwanauer scored two touchdowns and gained 258 all-purpose yards at Oak Park. Schwanauer rushed 17 times for 118 yards and caught eight passes for 140 yards.
Quarterback Ron Allen completed 12 passes for 156 yards, including a 60-yard scoring pass play to Schwanauer.
St. Genievieve quarterback Alex Muller completed 11 of 21 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns. Muller connected with Randy Iaccino on a 49-yard pass play to cut the Eagles’ lead to 18-14 with less than four minutes to play.
Joe Muller, Alex’s brother, caught 10 passes for 95 yards, including a 15-yard touchdown.
