IHOP Corp. said Larry Alan Kay has indicated that he intends to resign Jan. 1 as executive vice president-administration, secretary and general counsel. The Glendale-based chain of International House of Pancakes restaurants did not say whether it has named his successor. Kay, 46, wants to pursue personal interests and explore other business opportunities, IHOP said. Kay will continue as an IHOP director and will be available as a consultant
