OUTLOOK
Twelve starters--plus Pawinski, a two-way starter who transferred from Costa Mesa--return along with 16 other lettermen, making Estancia a seasoned unit. Quarterback Thompson was 17-1-1 on the junior varsity before becoming a backup to Matt Johner (Kansas) last season, and should help the Eagles challenge for their first PCL title.
