Westminster School District offices are now open for new student registration for the 1993-94 academic year.
All school offices are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and employees will be available to provide registration forms and answer questions, said spokeswoman Audrey Brown.
Parents who are new to the area and who are unsure which school their child should attend may call (714) 894-7311.
New kindergarten students must have reached age 5 on or before Dec. 2, 1993. When registering, all new students must provide the district with legal proof of age, such as a birth certificate, and proof that they have received required immunizations, Brown said.
Proper immunizations include: three polio inoculations, the third after age 2; four diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis inoculations, the fourth after age 2; and one measles-mumps-rubella vaccine after age 1.
New students and their siblings, regardless of age, may receive these immunizations free at Land School, 15151 Temple St. They will be administered from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, the first day of school, Brown said.
For more information about the free health clinic, call the district health office at (714) 894-7311, Ext. 300.
