OUTLOOK The Panthers have struggled through their nonleague schedule, then won the league co-championship the past two seasons. This year, they should be able to handle their entire schedule better. Worthem has had consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. Lauridsen threw one touchdown pass and had nine passes intercepted in 1992, but he has improved.
