CAMARILLO : Council Votes to Ban Parking in 2 Areas
After complaints from frustrated motorists, the Camarillo City Council has voted to outlaw parking on two small sections of Earl Joseph Drive and Los Pueblos Drive.
The council agreed unanimously to forbid parking on the short stretch of Earl Joseph Drive between Green Lawn Avenue and Las Posas Road and on a 100-foot section of Los Pueblos Drive at Avenida Encanto.
The problem on Earl Joseph Drive, city officials said, is that residents have been parking recreational vehicles along both sides of the street, making it difficult for motorists to make U-turns.
On Los Pueblos Drive, motorists have complained that cars parked near the intersection of Avenida Encanto block their vision of the road.
