* * Various artists, “The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration,” Columbia. This document of last year’s Dylan tribute at Madison Square Garden is a little flat, but the highlights--especially Eddie Vedder’s intense “Masters of War” and Eric Clapton’s burning-blues reworking of “Don’t Think Twice It’s All Right”--are worth having, for Dylanologists and dabblers alike.
New albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
