David Mount to Head Sales at Warner Music

Music Man: Warner Music Group has hired David Mount to head its sales and distribution arm, one of the most powerful jobs in the music business.
Mount, 50, was a regional sales manager at Warner in the 1980s. He worked at Live Entertainment Inc. as chief executive since 1991.
Lauren Lloyd has been named vice president, production at Hollywood Pictures, a division of Walt Disney Co. Lloyd was a partner in her own production firm, Nicita/Lloyd Productions.
Mitchell Cannold has been appointed vice president, new technologies, for Sony Corp. of America. Cannold will retain his title of president of new technologies for Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Management and production company Addis/Wechsler & Associates said Rick Yorn has joined the firm as a manager. Also at Addis/Wechsler, David L. Seltzer and Kimberly Hines have been promoted to managers, Danny Heaps has been promoted to senior vice president of the music division and Julie Silverman to vice president in the talent division.
Gregory G. Woertz has been named corporate controller at Samuel Goldwyn Co.
Adam T. Wolf joins Fries Entertainment as eastern sales manager.
Burbank-based Serious Music has hired independent music rep Yvette Lubinsky to represent the firm’s roster of composers on the West Coast.
