Dental Implant Company Acquired: Implant Support Systems Inc. in Irvine has been purchased by a Minnesota company for $682,000 in cash and a $2-million note, the company said Wednesday.
Implant Support, with only 11 employees, makes dental implant components. Lifecore Biomedical Inc. of Chaska, Minn., said that it expects the terms of the acquisition plus Implant’s profitable business to have a positive effect on Lifecore’s cash flow. Lifecore develops, makes and sells sterile medical devices for the surgical market.
