This Padre Show Should Be Canceled

Let’s use television lingo to explain to Tom Werner why he has shown zero promise as the owner of the San Diego Padres.

If someone were to buy the hit show, “Roseanne,” and replace Roseanne Arnold with a cheaper actress because her contract was too high, do you think anyone would watch it? It’s a case of, “Geez, our payroll is still too high. Better get rid of John Goodman, too.”
