Balance Your Checkbook on TV: Intuit Inc. of Menlo Park and EON Corp. of Reston, Va., have teamed up to create a system that will allow personal financial computer programs to be run on home television sets. Consumers will be able to reconcile and update accounts, review their financial performance and organize financial information, the companies said. EON, formerly known as TV Answer Inc., is expected to roll out a nationwide, interactive television system later this year.
