Ron Oberman New Executive VP of A&R; at MCA Records

Moving up: MCA Records is promoting Ron Oberman, who joined the company in January, to executive vice president of A&R.;
Oberman began at MCA as senior vice president of A&R;, moving over to the company from Columbia Records. At Columbia, Oberman worked with such acts as the Bangles, Warrant and Toad the Wet Sprocket.
Hollywood Pictures promoted three executives--Scott Immergut, Gail Lyon and Jay Stern--to vice presidents of production. They will report to Hollywood President Ricardo Mestres.
Robert Brassel has been named senior vice president of theatrical production at Warner Bros.
Gary D. Roberts has been named vice president of legal affairs and senior counsel for Fox Inc.
Jerrold T. Brandt Jr. is the new West Coast manager for ASI Market Research.
Perry Simon is resigning as executive vice president of prime-time programming at NBC Entertainment for a non-exclusive production deal at NBC and NBC Productions.
Harmony Pictures named Gil Cope to the company’s directorial staff. Cope has extensive advertising experience.
