Abkhazians Maintain Siege

TBILISI, Georgia — Abkhazian separatists rebuffed a Georgian ultimatum on Wednesday and refused to lift their 2-week-old siege of the provincial capital of Sukhumi. Georgia has threatened to launch an offensive in the breakaway Black Sea region unless rebels forces stop shelling the city.
