Nolan Ryan, who has been on the disabled list since May 17, hopes to return to the Texas Rangers’ rotation in two weeks.
The right-hander is tentatively scheduled to pitch against Milwaukee on July 19 at Arlington Stadium.
Ryan has been on the disabled list because of a strained left hip. Earlier in the season, he had arthroscopic surgery to repair damaged knee ligaments.
