Oh, boy. I have to agree with L. Wengard of Northridge (TV Times, May 16) on CBS’ poor decision to preempt “Guiding Light” with the details of events occurring in Waco, Tex. Brainless soap viewers like Ms. (Mr.?) Wengard rely on sappy drama as a substitution for living and it should not be interrupted by, heaven forbid, reality.
