Del Harris Interviews With Clippers
One day after being stung by Lenny Wilkens’ unexpected signing with Atlanta, the Clippers resumed their coaching search Wednesday when Del Harris came to Los Angeles for an interview.
Harris, who coached Houston to the NBA finals before moving on to Milwaukee, is the second candidate to meet with General Manager Elgin Baylor regarding the vacancy. Wilkens visited Los Angeles last weekend.
Harris was on the Clippers’ original list of possibilities to replace Larry Brown, who resigned and appears set to be named coach of the Indiana Pacers. Gene Littles and Mike Fratello, among others, are also being considered.
