Aliso Viejo : Shooting Victim Identified by Police
A man who was fatally shot over the weekend at an apartment complex has been identified as 22-year-old Shannon Dale Stevens, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said Monday.
Stevens died of a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to Lt. Dick Olson.
Deputies responded at 3 p.m. Saturday to the St. Moritz apartment complex on Summerfield. An anonymous caller had reported a possible suicide by gunshot at the location, but investigators on Sunday determined that it had been a homicide, Olson said.
He would not give any other details about the shooting.
Stevens was a resident in the 675-unit complex, but it was not known if he was shot in his own apartment.
