VALLEY CHRONICLE: The concept of in-flight movies has been taken down to the street level at Lanai Road School in Encino, where students watch videos on a television set in their bus. . . . The pilot program screens videos dealing with self-esteem and the environment, as well as an occasional movie such as “Beauty and the Beast.” Principal Ronald Ferrier says the kids “are really into the environment, making sure the planet is neat, clean and green” (B5).
