SOUTHERN SECTION BADMINTON PLAYOFFS : Chiu Helps Buena Park Get Past Diamond Bar
Buena Park, seeded No. 2, beat Diamond Bar, 14-5, in a Southern Section Division I badminton playoff match Tuesday at Buena Park.
Jennifer Chiu won both her girls’ singles matches and joined Pater Lam to win in mixed doubles for the Coyotes (13-0).
In Division II:
Loara 15, Long Beach Jordan 4--Khoi Nguyen went 2-0 in boys’ doubles and joined Kathleen Dang to win in mixed doubles for host Loara (10-3).
