Countywide : 17th Street On-Ramp to Close Temporarily
- Share via
The California Department of Transportation on Friday warned motorists that the 17th Street on-ramp to the southbound Santa Ana Freeway in Santa Ana is scheduled to close Wednesday for about two months.
The ramp is being reconstructed as part of the massive Interstate 5 widening project.
Meanwhile, closure of some lanes at night has been extended.
Closure of all southbound Santa Ana Freeway lanes from The City Drive to Main Street from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. began last weekend and will occur again Sunday through Monday as a result of bridge work.
Motorists traveling south on the Santa Ana Freeway can exit at The City Drive, proceed to the eastbound Garden Grove Freeway and continue to the southbound Costa Mesa Freeway, which will bring them to the Santa Ana Freeway again.
