Forum on Mental Health Care
Tipper Gore will speak on the move toward a national plan for mental health services May 26 in Los Angeles.
The wife of Vice President Al Gore chairs the mental health subcommittee under Hillary Rodham Clinton’s task force on health reform.
Gore, who has a master’s degree in psychology, will address participants of the day-long forum and will listen to public comments. The forum is sponsored by several local and state mental health organizations. The meeting will be held at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott.
