George Spota, 75, Hollywood producer and manager whose clients included Jonathan Winters, Carol Burnett and Arlene Francis. In the early 1970s, Spota created and produced the durable one-man show “Will Rogers U.S.A.” starring James Whitmore. In 1973 he produced the show as a CBS special. His other shows included “Eleanor” in 1976 and “Bully! An Adventure with Teddy Roosevelt” in 1977. On Friday in Los Angeles of cancer.
