CAM Data Systems Net for Quarter Up Slightly

CAM Data Systems Inc., the Fountain Valley producer of point-of-sale and inventory management systems, reported net income of $177,000 or 9 cents a share, on revenue of $3.1 million for its second fiscal quarter ended March 31. That compares to net income of $141,000, or 8 cents a share, on revenue of nearly $2 million for the second quarter a year earlier. For the first half, net income declined 18%, to $278,000, or 14 cents a share, from $341,000, or 20 cents a share, for the first six months ended March 31, 1992. Revenue rose 43%, to $5.7 million from $4 million.
