Well, I guess we all know who wears the pants in Chip Beck’s house--his accountant. Nice guy? Yeah. Player? No. Thanks for giving the Masters to Bernhard Langer, Chip. That layup on the 15th has to go down as the all-time wimp-out in Masters history.
Just remember one thing when you cash that second-place check: You’re the first guy who didn’t try to win the Masters. I hope you never get another chance.
