Cher Sues: Cher has sued the Star tabloid for allegedly stealing copyrighted photographs of her waterfront Malibu home and using them in an article that derided the home’s value. In a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, Cher alleges that the tabloid’s three-page photo spread and accompanying article dropped the home’s value and prevented a quick sale. A Star spokesman could not be reached for comment. The home was put up for sale in December and remains unsold. Cher seeks an unspecified amount in damages, as well as the return of the pictures and all unsold Jan. 26 issues of the Star.
