ANTELOPE VALLEY : College Library Cuts Hours of Operation
Antelope Valley College has reduced operating hours at the campus library because of a partial hiring freeze that leaves the facility with fewer employees, officials said.
Starting last week, the library was open Monday through Thursday. Previously, it had also been open on Fridays.
In addition, the library does not open as early or stay open as late on some days. New operating hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday; noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.
