Bonde Scores 21 Points as Toro Women Win
Junior guard Karee Bonde, the leading three-point shooter in the California Collegiate Athletic Assn., scored 21 points, added five assists and four steals to lead the Toros to an 80-77 overtime victory over Cal State San Bernardino Thursday night at Toro Gym.
Bonde had four three-point baskets as Dominguez Hills improved to 14-8 and 6-3 in conference.
Kim Young had a game-high 39 points for San Bernardino (15-9, 5-5).
The Toros will play at UC Riverside on Saturday and travel to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on Thursday. Dominguez Hills ends the regular season at home against Cal Poly Pomona Feb. 27.
