Portable Cribs Recalled: Playskool Travel-Lite portable cribs that were blamed for three infant suffocations are being recalled by the manufacturer, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said. Consumers should immediately stop using the Playskool Travel-Lite cribs with model numbers 77101 and 77103. The cribs have two nylon-mesh sides that fold when the item is stored, but three infants died when the sides accidentally folded while the crib was in use. Consumers who own the cribs should call the manufacturer, Kolcraft Enterprises Inc., at 1-800-453-7673 to arrange for them to be picked up. Kolcraft will also give consumers a refund, the commission said.
