Prep Surfing: Second-ranked San Clemente and third-ranked Huntington Beach will be among the boys’ teams competing at the California Interscholastic Surfing Federation championships Feb. 27-28 at the Oceanside Harbor jetties. San Clemente and Huntington Beach will be chasing top-ranked Carlsbad in the 4-A division.
The Dana Hills girls’ team is top-ranked and Marina is ranked second in Division 4-A. San Clemente has the top-ranked bodyboarding team.
Orange High school’s baseball team is seeking donations to replace equipment that was stolen this week. The team lost all its bats and balls, bases and two pitching machines.
