Film Biz: KCET, in reportedly a first for a public television station, is set to produce a feature film. The project is “Roosters,” an adaptation of Milcha Sanchez-Scott’s stage play that will star Edward James Olmos, Sonia Braga and Maria Conchita Alonso. Following its theatrical run, “Roosters” will be booked on PBS’ “American Playhouse.”
