Clinton Lifts Abortion Curbs
The pro-choice community and Planned Parenthood should spend less time griping about the Supreme Court decision to allow protesting at abortion clinics and should quit spreading their “back alley” scare tactics on the public (Commentary, Jan. 15). They should spend more time teaching and encouraging sexual abstinence as a form of “planned parenthood” instead of promoting the promiscuous misnomer “safe sex.” We’d all benefit by the decrease in the number of abortions.
Likewise when all pro-lifers stop complaining about abortion and start doing all they physically can (like going through their own garages) to give moms-to-be car seats, cribs, clothes, diapers, temporary housing, etc., then a new day will dawn on the American abortion industry.
Both sides need to enlarge their present borders so that babies and women have the best choice: life and freedom.
