Bergen Brunswig Completes Takeover of Indiana Company
ORANGE — Bergen Brunswig Corp. said Monday that it has completed the takeover of Healthcare Distributors of Indiana Inc., a private company that has annual revenue of about $140 million. The deal, a stock swap valued at about $14 million, is the latest acquisition for Bergen Brunswig, the nation’s second-largest wholesale drug distributor. Bergen Brunswig announced in mid-December that it was purchasing the smaller company to gain a foothold in the Midwest market.
